Snilsberg Family Park

Norway's greenest family park is located in the heart of Ringsaker. The hallmarks are animals, activities and nature experiences. Here children can play and have fun, while adults can relax in calm and safe surroundings. The encounter with animals and many activities create happy and satisfied children.

Helgøya Climbing Park

In the middle of Mjøsa! The climbing park consists of 9 trails, 11 ziplines, a total of 103 climbing elements. Families, sports teams, football clubs, schools, birthday parties, companies and anyone who enjoys being outdoors can have fun and exciting time together!!

The Prussian House

Prøysenhuset is a national cultural center in honor of Alf Prøysen. Here, you can experience and learn more about his life and work. Prøysenhuset will honor, commemorate and actualize Prøysen's legacy – and inspire new generations.

Moelv

Moelv town centre is just over a kilometre away from Steinvik Camping. The town has just under 5,000 inhabitants and was granted city status in 2010 together with its neighbour Brumunddal. Here you have access to local shops, great hiking opportunities and nice beaches. North of the town centre you will find Mjøsen Golf Club which offers an 18-hole golf course. Sjusjøen with its great hiking and skiing opportunities is only half an hour's drive from Moelv town centre.

Skiblade

Take a trip with Mjøsa's white swan, Skibladner, the world's oldest paddle steamer! Visiting the Mjøsa towns of Lillehammer, Moelv, Gjøvik and Hamar, among others!

Brumunddal

Moelv's closest neighbor is Brumunddal. Here you can visit Mølla Storsenter or take a hike up Høsbjørg for a fantastic view of Brumunddal and Lake Mjøsa. In the summer, the volleyball courts at Stela are a gathering point for children and young people. Experience the Mjøsa Park!

Lillehammer

Lillehammer, the Olympic city from 1994, is the ideal destination for those looking for fantastic nature experiences. From the city you have easy access to some of the country's most spectacular nature experiences. Rondane, Jotunheimen and Langsua National Parks are all a short drive away.

Hamar

Children love Hamar. Here, adventures are never far away. At Koigen you can dive from perhaps Norway's most talked-about diving tower! If you like swimming indoors, a swim at Ankerskogen is always a good idea. For those interested in railways, the Norwegian Railway Museum is worth a visit!

Gjovik

Gjøvik is a half-hour drive from Steinvik Camping. The town is home to Skibladner and the area offers more than 1.5km of groomed ski slopes in various terrains. Also visit the Gjøvik Olympic Mountain Hall, which was built for the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Hunderfossen

Hunderfossen Family Park in Lillehammer. The park is known as the All of Norway's Adventure Park, with large and beautiful attractions both indoors and outdoors. In midsummer, there is Troll Night on 16 selected evenings, with a large performance on the amphitheatre, huldre games and troll games.
